Polish Sabre model 1917 with scabbard

Description: We offer You the copy of the first really Polish sabre after over 120 yers of Poland's partition. Designed during the First World War, this sabre was made by Polish producers for Polish soldiers, where the shape and materials were conformable with Polish Army Instructions from April 1917. This is why this sabre is known as model 1917. Since 1919 nown as "Radziwillowka" to memorize Duchess Isabela Radziwill who gave this sabre to 12 Regiment of Podole Uhlans.
Handle of this sabre, made of brass, was designed for officers of artillery and uhlans. The hilt alone was wooden and twined by brass wire.
In the middle of the blade, we can see inscription: "HONOR OJCZYZNA" ("Honor and Fatherland") on one side and "Z BOGIEM POKORNIE Z WROGIEM MEZNIE ZE SZCZESCIEM PRZEZORNIE POCZYNAJ" on the other.
